Job Summary:

This is a One (1) year assignment only 7/1/24-6/30/2025 .

Clinical duties will include attending on the inpatient Transplant and Malignant Hematology service for 8 weeks and staffing an outpatient clinic 1 half-day per week. Also, the physicians will be expected to contribute to the department's academic mission in terms of research, teaching, and participation in programmatic and departmental meetings and activities.  Note that the duties and responsibilities assigned to you may change depending upon the Department of Medicine and the Hematology Division's needs.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • MD or MD/Ph.D. degree
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology or Oncology or both
  • Eligible for Colorado state medical license 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior training with the Hematology BMT Team at CU Anschutz 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • A working knowledge of research laboratory issues in cellular immunotherapies and working collaboratively with basic and translational laboratory researchers.
  • Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$120,000.00.

This is a One (1) year assignment only 7/1/24 - 6/30/2025.

The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
