Summary of Duties:

The role of the Curriculum Management Unit Data Consultant is to maintain accurate information and data as it pertains to the MD curriculum, assist with the creating of reports that allow for trends to be identified and recommendations implemented. Using a continuous quality improvement approach, the CMU Consultant supports data gathering, synthesis, and maintenance under the direction of the Director of Curriculum Management.

The Office of Accreditation, Assessment, Evaluation and Curriculum Management (AAEC) develops, oversees and implements the strategies to:

  • Continuously monitor the academic performance of the medical education program through the acquisition, synthesis and dissemination for key indicators.
  • Continuously monitor student learning outcomes and support proactive and timely interventions by predicting future performance.
  • Translate learning environment feedback data into actionable information used to enhance faculty development and teaching performance.
  • Enable the delivery of a complex, integrated competency based curriculum through continuous development and enhancement of the E.Flo MD curriculum management system.
  • Oversee the implementation of the College Standards Based Continuous Quality Leadership Program leading to perpetual compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree, including college-level course work in statistics and/or mathematics or one (1) year of work experience in statistics, analysis, or research OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel (writing functions, conditional formatting, etc.).
  • Ability/willingness to learn new data management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI.
