|Summary of Duties||
The Ohio State University at Lima seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a counselor for the students on the Lima campus. This position will work as part of the Lima Counseling and Consultation Services team, with primary responsibilities including providing psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and similar services, and with additional responsibilities including collaborating on campus-wide programming and initiatives supporting students’ successful adjustment to college life and demands. Working hours will vary during the academic year based on campus needs, not to exceed a half-time position (.5 FTE) over the course of the academic year, from August through July annually. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the Lima area.

Master’s Degree in social work, psychotherapy, counseling, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; appropriate licensure, such as licensed professional clinical counselor, licensed independent social worker; experience in areas related to clinical counseling and outreach; strong organizational, written, computer, and interpersonal skills; knowledge of student development theory and practices; a record of building collaborative professional relationships.
Advanced degree such as PsyD or Phd; three or more years of experience in clinical counseling in a higher education institution.
