Job Description
  • Programme development  : Collaborate within the institute to engage companies to identify internship opportunities aligned with student's field of study, design and implement training programs for students participating in internship
  • Partnership building : Establish and maintain relationships with organizations to create a diverse range of internship opportunities, collaborate with employers to understand their needs and tailor internship programs accordingly.
  • Student engagement : Advise and support students in identifying suitable internship opportunities, conduct workshops and information sessions to prepare students for the internship search process, provide guidance on resume building, interview skills, and professional development
  • Placement and Supervision : Coordinate the internship placement process, ensuring a smooth match between students and employers, facilitate the onboarding process for interns and employers, monitor and evaluate student performance during the internship period
  • Evaluation and Reporting : Collect feedback from students, employers, and faculty to assess the effectiveness of the internship program, prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to be program

    • Qualifications
    • Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant area
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in student internship placement role or equivalent
    • Proven experience in managing a university internship programs or similar
    • Strong networks and relationship with employers / industry partners
    • Strong understanding of higher education and industry trends
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good empathy with students’ needs and issues
    • Familiarity with career development and counselling
