Adjunct Assistant Professor

The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstanding candidates to apply for an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

SBS is searching for individuals with a well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals. The successful candidate will establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate is expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching.

An exciting opportunity exists for mid-career scientists with practical experience in businesses relating to biotechnological, biomedical or healthcare industry to join the School of Biological Sciences at NTU as adjunct assistant professor in BioBusiness. All experience in BioBusiness will be valued, but preference will be given to individuals with exposure to a diversity of BioBusiness and an acumen for technical and regulatory challenges associated with this market.

Requirement

The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to practice-oriented courses and/or learning activities for the BioBusiness component of the programme. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to draw on his/her contacts and connections to bring about new internship and project opportunities for the students in the programme.

All candidates must have a PhD or MD (or other equivalent) degree and preferably industry or business experiences.
