 Recent student comments

"The block courses are intense, you have so much to learn in the 5 days but the instructor prepared us really well and made things easier to understand. Feel like I have progressed a lot throughout the duration of the block courses and gained valuable knowledge to help me in my plumbing career."

MIT is committed to ensuring our workforce reflects the diversity of our tauira (students) and the rich cultures represented within the local community we serve. We know how important it is for our tauira and kaimahi (staff) to have their culture and values reflected in our way of working and in the people we recruit. To support this, MIT seeks to grow the number of Māori and Pasifika kaimahi across our Institute, and gives recognition to applicants who demonstrate Māori and/or Pasifika cultural knowledge and skills.
