Partnership Coordinator - Initial Teacher Education 

The Partnership Co-Ordinator supports the delivery of Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes in primary and secondary schools. 

The Partnership Coordinator will be part of the Learning Delivery Directorate reporting to a Programme Delivery Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with engaging in cultural activities with an understanding of āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga)
  • Excellent skills in building and maintaining networks and relationships
  • High level of interpersonal and oral communication skills, and excellent written communication skills, particularly high standard in written English
  • Ability to effectively develop and implement priorities, meet deadlines.
  • An understanding of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it relates to the education sector

You will have:

  • Appropriate teaching qualification and preferably a post-graduate qualification. 
  • Current practicing certificate with the Teaching Council NZ. 
  • Experience in supporting teachers to develop effective pedagogy and practice.
  • Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with a range of stakeholders, especially in an education delivery setting relating to workplace-based learning.
