Offer Description
Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Scientist within UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy.
The CRUISING project focuses on engaging citizen in data collection on road accidents and near misses whole walking or cycling around the city. The main objective is to pave the way towards climate-neutral, safe, inclusive and cities through better understanding of road safety for active modes. The project will leverage citizen science and advanced data analytics to understand the impacts of urban structure, traffic and environmental patterns, road behaviour, etc on road safety. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team within the Spatial Dynamics Lab in UCD, which is currently running several projects funded by the European Commission, Science Foundation Ireland, EPA, NTA, Enterprise Ireland, etc.
Fixed Salary: €50,000 Per Annum
