This Assistant Professor in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Systems) will be appointed to contribute to teaching, research and administrative activities in the Discipline of Electronic and Electrical Engineering within the School of Engineering. The post holder will complement the existing staff in the wider Departmental and School areas of Circuits and Systems (including Robotics), Digital Media Signal Processing, Bioengineering, Power Management and Control.

Increasingly the research groups in the Department and the School are interdisciplinary. In this recruitment call we are interested in growing our teams in either of two areas : Circuits and Systems or ML/AI in Engineering (including e.g. application areas in Audio/Video Processing or Robotics). We also encourage applicants with a research and teaching profile relevant to Computational Science and Engineering as it pertains to these two areas. The successful applicant will deliver modules at both the undergraduate and taught MSc level. The successful applicant will also contribute to the growth of the E3 programme across the Faculty.

Post Status Tenure Track - This position is a Tenure Track position which is 5-years in the first instance, permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements.
