  • Part-time (0.9 FTE), continuing position based in the UniSA College at the City West campus
  • Commencement Salary: $69,605 pro rata per annum (plus up to 17% superannuation)

About the Role

The Senior Academic Services Officer is a key role in the UniSA College team, providing leadership and support to the Academic Services Officers and undertaking a range of administrative activities to support the delivery of the College’s programs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Undertake and provide leadership support to Academic Services staff in UniSA College student admissions, timetabling and scheduling, workload and casual contract administration, academic integrity, academic review, scholarship administration
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to communicate and share relevant information, ensure the delivery of academic focussed information to students and to resolve complex student administration issues
  • Ensure the consistent application and interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support for the Unit’s programs and courses in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support to College academic committees

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Experience in a senior administrative role in a complex organisation
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
  • High level written, research and analytical ability, as well as keen organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong, collaborative working relationships across the University
