About the opportunity

The AV Infrastructure Project Coordinator is responsible for project co-ordination activities within the ICT Client Design and Standards AV Projects team. The position will work primarily with Audio-Visual Project Managers and Audio-Visual Designers, and other University staff to ensure the successful delivery of Audio-Visual infrastructure solutions.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • coordinate multiple project activities concurrently, and manage coordination tasks associated with Audio-Visual Infrastructure project delivery
  • work with a range of staff and external stakeholders across multiple University teams to facilitate the delivery of AV infrastructure
  • resolve complex issues, and mitigate risks by utilising your knowledge of project coordination to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • assist in the management of project financials against budget, and activities against agreed scope
  • participate in procurement activities, such as RFQ/RFT, and the establishment of agreements with suppliers.
  • deliver small projects, initiatives, and lead other activities successfully

About you

  • experience coordinating multiple work streams, or leading complex activities
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
  • understanding of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, communications, risk and issue reporting/management, procurement.
  • accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised. Planning, analysis and communication skills together with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands
  • financial literacy, and experience managing budgets and expenditure for a project
  • Knowledge of Audio-Visual technologies, basic understanding of networks, and a willingness to be hands-on when required
