Overview
Edith Cowan University has a growing community of alumni all over the world. Our Alumni Relations Team is responsible for maintaining these relationships, providing support, and increasing engagement with the University. An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join this team as an Alumni Relations Officer on a fixed-term 12-month contract.

The Role
The position of Alumni Relations Officer plays a key role in supporting the Manager, Alumni Relations to grow the number of alumni connected to ECU and increase their level of involvement with the University.

This is an exciting and varied role with opportunity to be creative, co-ordinating a number of key events, programs and projects alongside the provision of administrative support for the team and customer service for our alumni.

Selection Criteria
You will have experience of co-ordinating events and be confident managing a variety of tasks independently.

It is important that you are a fast learner who can adapt to the requirements of a process-based environment. Experience of systems such as Salesforce and Mailchimp would be an advantage.

Copywriting will form a part of the role, so excellent written skills are essential.

A background working in a communications or stakeholder engagement-based role would also be an advantage.

Good communication, administrative and organisational skills are essential, as are a focus on customer service and problem-solving ability.

Benefits and Remuneration
This full-time, fixed term position attracts salary of $73,257 to $81,404 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
