to be filled. Starting date is 7/1/2024. The position is to June, 30.2027.

The applicants will either work on the function of sphingolipids or oxylipins in the model organism Physcomitrella patens.
The PhD positions are available in the research group of Prof. Feussner at the Department of Plant Biochemistry at the Georg-August-University Göttingen, Germany. The Feussner laboratory applies a combination of analytical, biochemical and genetic studies to investigate the role of lipids during evolution in plants.
Applicants require a master in Biology, Biochemistry or related fields and should be highly motivated to work in plant sciences. Experience in analytical chemistry, plant genetics, and molecular biology are desirable.
