OFFER DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a PhD and postdoctoral candidates to join our collaborative project on cancer and chronic kidney disease. The tasks will involve devising computational methods for analysis of histopathology images of cancer, kidney structures imaged with super-resolution microscopy in 3D, or automating nephropathology procedures using deep learning. Our collaboration partners include medical as well as microscopy experts located in Cologne and Freiburg.   - degree in computer science, physics, bioinformatics, or a related field,

  - good knowledge of programming (python),

  - experience with computation on cluster architectures,

  - experience with machine learning,

  - great communication skills, capacity of working in a team and in an interdisciplinary environment.
