As Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Real-time Systems, we work on the latest developments in the field of future mobility. Constructing modern, autonomous vehicles and mobility infrastructure requires a rethink in system and software engineering to keep pace with growing complexity and leverage the latest technologies like artificial intelligence. It involves simulating complex mobility scenarios and testing with real vehicles and control systems.

Requirements
  • A completed master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience in software development
  • Excellent programming skills
  • Familiar with basics of machine learning
  • Interest in mobility technology and/or simulations, with preferably relevant prior experiences
  • Interest in Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications
  • Interest in Model-Driven Engineering (MDE)
  • Interested in collaboration with major players in automotive software and hardware industry
  • Motivated to work in a team and contribute to a significant scientific project

Tasks
  • Fine-tuning LLMs for automated software requirements extraction
  • Fine-tuning LLMs for automated code generation
  • Adopting model-driven engineering (MDE) for automotive software development workflow
