Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Designs, evolves, and sustains a modernized job architecture.
- Develops both short- and long-term base pay strategies, and designs action plans for implementation. Maintains market data survey portfolio, submission and result processes, and market data library.
- Works independently to coordinate the job evaluation process, including facilitating internal peer reviews and external competitive market pricing surveys and assessments.
- Prepares and presents a variety of HR analyses and metrics utilized to inform HR decisions.
- Provides input to various projects based on data driven insights and makes recommendations for related process improvements.
- Reviews and enhances compensation-related workflows and reporting in Workday.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Develops compensation policies, processes, and governance. Creates and manages the base pay structure and governance approach.
- Coordinates the University-wide staff annual compensation process, including preparatory and post-process analysis of base pay levels of competitiveness and talent investment. Calibrates and aligns base pay levels appropriately to the level of talent.
- Performs other related work as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as human resources, finance, or business administration.
Experience:
- Experience in a decentralized environment.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
- Microsoft Excel (i.e., vlookups, pivot tables, data visualization, etc.).
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Workday.

- Utilize critical thinking skills to draw conclusions and solve problems.
- Presentation, consultation, and group facilitation skills with experience presenting complex information in an accessible and clear format.
