The Resident Director lives in an apartment in the residence hall that they supervise.
The main goal of Office of Residence Life is to provide a comprehensive living and learning program on campus that supports the academic mission of the University. The Resident Director takes primary responsibility for achieving this goal in an individual residence hall through supervising staff, assisting students, creating an educational environment in the hall, and communicating with partners across campus.

Experience in higher education or working in a residential setting.

Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration or a related field.
At least one year working in a residence hall setting.
