Position Description:

The Department Coordinator I will facilitate all daily operational duties and provide high-level administrative support to faculty within the Brain & Spine Institute programs. This position will also support the Media Relations & Marketing Coordinator, assisting with social media platforms, symposium scheduling and coordination, and website updates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to multiple faculty within the Brain & Spine Institute, including but not limited to, maintaining appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel; transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.  Provide administrative support to all assigned faculty, including but not limited to those belonging to the Tumor, Traumatic Brain Injury and Vascular programs. Coordinate all aspects of travel for all assigned faculty, following established departmental and university policies and procedures. Review and coordinate incoming correspondence and respond timely to routine inquiries.
  • Assist the department Media Relations & Marketing Manager with social media content creation, engagement monitoring, and overall account management within the clinical divisions.  This includes, but not limited to department and residency Instagram, twitter, and Facebook accounts.
  • Assist Media Relations & Marketing Manager with updating/maintaining department website(s). This includes, but not limited to clinical division sites, as well as residency and fellowship sites. Create cohesion among the websites.
  • Regular updates to published faculty profiles.
  • Assist Faculty Affairs Manager with coordination of faculty candidate interviews, faculty promotions, and all other faculty matters pertaining to assigned faculty.
  • Order office supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance with departmental and university policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Target Compensation Maximum:

$22.51

Target Compensation Minimum:

$15.00

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
