Research Scientist

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Chicago invites applications for a Research Scientist appointment. The Research Scientist will conduct research with a faculty member, specifically Chuan He, his research group, and collaborators on computational biology of epigenetics and epigenetic sequencing method development, including responsibility for the development of new methods in mapping chromatin state.  The term of the appointment will be for up to three years and is expected to begin on March 01, 2023.

Minimum:

• A doctoral degree in chemistry, biology, or epigenetics or closely related field.
• A minimum of three years of related experimental experience, beyond Ph.D. training

Preferred

• Experience in computational biology.
