Deadline: 14 Jan 2023

Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Qinghang Liu in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at the University of Washington, Seattle.  The laboratory investigates molecular mechanisms of cardiac remodeling and heart failure. The NIH-funded projects focus on programed necrosis in the pathogenesis of heart disease (e.g., JCI 2022;132(4):e152297; Circulation 2017;136(8):729; Circulation 2014;130(24):2162). The laboratory utilizes multi-disciplinary approaches including cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, mouse genetics, and cardiovascular physiology to understand the molecular basis of heart disease.
