About the Opportunity

Part Time Lecturer, Music Composition for Computer Games

Summary and Responsibilities:

The Department of Music in the College of Arts, Media and Design, Northeastern University seeks a part-time instructor to teach a course titled “Composition for Computer Games.” The successful candidate will teach the foundational skills of the creation and implementation of audio for video games to students with diverse experiences, mostly in game design or music technology.  The course content and syllabus will be developed by the instructor.

Qualifications:

PhD is preferred or equivalent professional experience. Experience teaching at the college level is an asset though not essential for someone with relevant industry experience.
