The Department of Pathology employs 130 faculty with diverse expertise from basic science to the practice of human and veterinary medicine, broadly focused on the study, diagnosis and treatment of disease and training the next generation of healthcare and scientific professionals. Nature of work: This permanent on-site full-time position in the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, to be based at the University of Colorado Hospital in the Department of Pathology Anatomic Pathology laboratory. The recruit will serve as an attending pathologist and educate others in hepatic and liver transplant pathology, pancreatic, biliary, and tubular GI pathology. The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, inclusive of senior liver and GI pathologists, clinicians and surgeons thus strong communication and professional skills are expected. Given the acute nature of the work, night, and weekend call in rotation with other attending pathologists will be required. The academic appointment, at rank of Assistant or Associate Professor or Professor, requires the candidate to have significant medical training and experience, and excel in clinical activities, teaching, and scholarship. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE (minimum – 40th posting max) . Assistant Professor: $130,000 to $250,000 Associate Professor: $212,000 to $290,000 Professor: $290,000-360,000 The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
