Position Details:

Summary of Duties:

Oversees the scheduling of events and meetings on the WSU Spokane campus. Utilizes professional judgment and knowledge of campus spaces and resources in the application of scheduling requests. Coordinates with ITS, Fac Ops and departments to understand equipment and set-up needs for events and meetings. Applies knowledge of Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) rules and policies in regard to scheduling events and the use of state resources. Assists with the campus scheduling program 25Live.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Events Schedule Coordination: 40%
  • Campus Scheduling: 35%
  • 25Live System Training and Maintenance: 15%
  • Student Affairs Office Support: 5%
  • Other Duties as Assigned: 5%


Required Qualifications:

High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Two (2) years’ experience in reservations, scheduling, or special events coordination or related experience.
  • Intermediate skill level in applications using Microsoft Office Suite and internet.
  • Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Advanced skill level in computer applications using 25Live or similar scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated experience working with events, scheduling, and public relations in a higher education setting.

Monthly Salary: Range 38, $3,096 - $4,013–Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
