Staff and Administrative

Job Duties:

Provide support to the EPP Director and Associate Director

  • Help with the directors' schedule, calendar, and travel arrangements as needed
  • Plan, schedule, and execute EPP trainings and office events (e.g., training meetings, recruitments)
  • Take, finalize, and distribute EPP meeting minutes
  • Assist in compilation and completion of required reports (e.g., CAEP Annual Reports, USBE Annual Reports, Title II Reports)
  • Assist in the distribution of EPP Annual Reports
  • Have informational background and knowledge of university and office procedures to support helping faculty, students or other persons contacting the office
  • Assist in the accreditation process
  • Prepare student employees work schedules

Office responsibilities

  • Train student employees on essential functions in coordination with Associate Director
  • Support the Educator and Educator-Grad systems and manage Service Now incidents 
  • Manage the EPP website
  • Develop and maintain user guides, handbooks, office manuals, and training videos
  • Lead weekly team meetings

Manage administrative HR/financial functions for the office

  • Assist in the hiring of student employees
  • Maintain and file departmental financial records
  • Assist directors in reconciling purchasing and travel expenditures
  • Assist in the purchasing and payment of supplies

Qualifications

Required:   

  • HR or Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge in financial and office management skills
  • Professional demeanor, confidentiality, ability to communicate effectively and work independently 
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently 
  • Excellent phone and public relations skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented, consistent, and accurate
  • Self-starter

Preferred:

  • Writing and editing experience
  • Experience with Brightspot, Educator, or Educator-Grad
  • Understanding of and compliance with FERPA regulations
  • Bachelor¿s degree

 

Employee Class: 3/4 Time Contract (28 hour)

Work Location: Provo Campus

Environment: General office or other equivalently good environment

Pay Level: 47

Approximate Starting Salary: $18.00 - $22.50/hour
