ROLE of the POSITION
The Enrollment Coordinator for the School of Nursing is responsible for the operational coordination of activities and services related to the successful recruitment, enrollment and transition of students through the institution. Functions include managing admissions and student aid; planning for courses, and working in collaboration with the various faculty and support staff to plan, develop and coordinate programs and services that assist students in the successful completion of their academic experiences. Key constituents are faculty, students, and staff. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Graduate Affairs, School of Nursing and works collaboratively with the Associate Deans of Faculty and Undergraduate Affairs as well as faculty, students and staff.
Duties include but not limited to:
Create the alternate calendars, disseminate and work with faculty and students to ensure smooth transition between semesters
Develop and maintain a system that ensures accuracy of the collection and storage of School of Nursing enrollment documents and student files
Recruit and retain students for graduate and online programs, including DNP and PhD
Provide pre-program advising and degree audit checks in order to track student's academic progression through the program and onto graduation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
No experience required, new graduates may apply.
