Job Summary
Responsible for clinical research data collection for the HCI Disease Groups. Access various clinical data sources to abstract information necessary for research and publications. Perform quality checks on data. Coordinate activities on various research projects. Work with HCI Research Informatics to improve clinical data collection. Assist with the development of data structures to capture clinical elements across all related cancer types. Maintain work practice documents that outline all data collection activities. Position will have supervisory and training responsibilities and will perform quality assurance across other Disease Groups.

Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Two years experience in collecting, organizing analyzing, and presenting data; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. 
 
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Preferences
Preference to candidates with experience in research analysis, databases, medical terminology, ICDO coding, working with physicians, and reviewing medical charts.
