Job Summary: |
The School of Medicine (SOM) Dean’s Office has an opening for a full-time Clinical Quality Project Manager in the Office of Clinical Affairs. The position provides support to the Senior Associate Dean, Associate Deans, and the Director of Access. The position works independently to manage projects prioritized by the Clinical Leadership Council and other SOM/CU Medicine Committees focused on clinical practice operations, quality improvement, patient safety, and patient and family experience of care. The individual collaborates with other projects and analytical team members working across the School of Medicine and within affiliated hospitals to support and facilitate the missions of the School and the specific goals of assigned projects. The individual in this role must have a solid background in business or healthcare. administration and/or fiscal management. Certification in Project Management (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable since experience in project management for process redesign or quality improvement is necessary for success. The ability to research and develop objective and subjective measures and design and prepare detailed summary reports or dashboards is required. Proven experience in financial analyses to measure return on investment (ROI) for quality improvement projects is a plus. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have demonstrated their ability to develop and implement complex project plans and work effectively with various individuals to ensure successful project completion. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as $70,551 to $89,741. The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
