What you need to know

Salary range:   Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Position details: Travel required with assigned sport. Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekend and holidays) as required to complete assigned duties.

Required Education: and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • No experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Background in NCAA rules.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to use spreadsheet and database programs.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree.

  • NCAA coaching or working experience. Experience with working for a NCAA Football Team.

Responsibilities

  •  FILM/EVALUATION PROCESS - Maintain up-to-date prospective student-athlete profiles and video profiles on behalf of assigned assistant coach(s). Analyzes and distributes video information to assigned assistant coach(s). Performs administrative duties as assigned by assistant coach(s); to include updating recruiting board(s). Monitors the eligibility of prospective student athletes and updates various prospective student athlete databases.

  • RECRUITING OPERATIONS - Assists in recruiting efforts. Organizes on-campus visits of prospective student athletes (official visits and unofficial visits, Junior days and other football recruiting events). Provides tours of campus athletic facilities to prospective student-athletes and families.

  •  FOOTBALL CAMP/CLIMIC - Assists with summer camps and clinics: (1) Football Camp Director with summer camp and (2) Director of High School Relations with coaching clinics.

  • Compliance - Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athletes: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality and other areas as deemed appropriate. Maintains awareness of and supports the diversity and inclusion initiatives of the Athletics Department. Compliance is a shared responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned.
