Job Summary:

The Department of Radiation Oncology of the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time radiation oncologist to work within the University of Colorado Health System, with the primary sites of practice at Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, Colorado, and the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado.   

This position requires the completion of an accredited residency in radiation oncology. Applicants must be able to obtain licensure for the practice of medicine within the State of Colorado, prescriptive authority and obtain privileges at our participating hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with cancer and certain benign neoplasms
  • Participate in departmental peer review process.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics
  • Participate in quality and safety review process

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
 

  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited radiation oncology residency
  • ABR board certification
  • 3 or more years of post-residency clinical experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in Academic Medical Environment

    Anticipated Pay Range:

    The starting salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

    Assistant Professor $325,000-$437,000

    The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
