The Undergraduate Business Program (UBP) is one of the largest academic programs within UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with an enrollment of approximately 1,000 business majors and minors. The Undergraduate Business Program Office provides academic and student development services for current and prospective students, as well as faculty and staff. Specific services include: prospective student recruitment and admissions; academic services, including academic advising, course scheduling, and graduation; new student orientation; student life and engagement programs, such as student clubs and organizations, case competitions and other community-building opportunities; study abroad and other global program experiences; and career development programs.
The Assistant Director, Undergraduate Business Employer Relations will work collaboratively across UNC Kenan-Flagler programs (i.e., MBA and Master of Accounting), as well as with staff administrators at the business school and the University to manage the recruiting process and to build positive, long-term relationships with employers. He/She will identify, plan and deliver a portfolio of high-touch stakeholder-oriented experiences to: i) increase the number of potential internship and employment opportunities for undergraduate business students, ii) elevate the quality of interactions among internal and external stakeholders, and iii) advance the business school’s brand with employers, corporate partners and alumni. This position independently manages all aspects of employer recruiting activities related to undergraduate business students for a large segment of existing employers and, to a lesser extent with a portion of targeted prospective employers. Additionally, the Assistant Director will act as a staff advisor to selected student clubs, assist in coordinating classroom speaking opportunities for employers at UNC Kenan-Flagler and manage the analysis of student outcomes data and the creation of related recruiting materials. This position will report to the Associate Director of Career Development.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, Master’s degree preferred but not required. All degrees must be from accredited institutions.

-3-years of previous work experience in either recruiting at a university and/or for an employer (e.g., corporation or other business entity) or in sales and/or relationship management
