Salary:

$3,042.67 - $4,666.66 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

The Administrative Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex (BCDC) Chief Research Officer (CRO), BCDC Associate Directors for Hypersonic and Integrated Networked Autonomy Facilities (hereafter, Range Directors), and range support and research teams.
This role requires a dynamic individual with understanding of the technical research sector, who possesses exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and has a commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of both the academic and research functions of the complex. 


Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:

- Manage the CRO and Range Directors' calendars (two calendars), schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments.
- Organize travel arrangements, and prepare itineraries, and expense reports.
- Prepare agendas, notes, and minutes for meetings.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages on behalf of the CRO and Range Directors.
- Closely coordinate with other BCDC and TAMUS administrative support staff to synchronize activities and provide administrative and logistics support for those activities.

Communication:
- Coordinate communication between various teams, faculty, research staff, Government, public, and private sectors.

Event Management:

- Organize, coordinate, and ensure the success of events, seminars, and conferences.
- Coordinate with public relations staff to update/maintain social media accounts.

Confidentiality & Compliance:

- Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, research guidelines, and aerospace industry regulations.

- Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

- Three years of related experience.

Registration, Certifications, and Licenses:

- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and other relevant software.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in task execution.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.­

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

- Discretion and confidentiality are essential. 

-The role may occasionally require evening and weekend work, especially during major events or project deadlines.

- Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

- Ensure compliance with university policies, research guidelines, and aerospace industry regulations.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prefer experience within the aerospace or defense industry, technical research field, or academia.

- Knowledge of research processes in relevant defense, technical, and acquisition sectors (e.g., aerospace, networks, air and ground vehicle autonomy) is a plus.

- Proficiency in social media platforms, including but not limited to Linkedln and Twitter (X) is a plus.

- Proficiency in web-publishing and relevant publishing applications is a plus.
