Technical research, development or innovation staff (Higher level training cycle, University degree or equivalent): organize and manage, within their field of knowledge, the development of actions to support research, development or innovation within the framework of a research project and/or provide specialized technical support or apply the processes and techniques developed in the research group, the laboratory, the scientific-technical service or the corresponding department.

The person selected will join as Technical Research Staff of the Digital Business Research Group (DigiBiz) of the UOC's Department of Economics and Business.

DigiBiz brings together academics and researchers who study key aspects of digital business transformation processes and their links with the online consumer. It is accredited as a Consolidated Research Group by the Generalitat de Catalunya (2017-SGR-368).

Functions:

Reporting directly to the Principal Investigator of the DigiBiz research group, the selected person will carry out the following tasks:

Bibliographic search and critical review of recent relevant works on research topics addressed by the DigiBiz research team and located in fields such as the following: digital marketing and consumer behavior, digital transformation and people management, financial training and entrepreneurial behavior, platforms multilateral and peer-to-peer digital networks.

Search and critical review of measurement scales developed or validated in recent works.

Preparation of measurement scales, design of online questionnaires, application of preventive measures of variance of the common method, and launch of surveys.

Field work supervision.

Construction of databases and data analysis using CB-SEM, PLS-SEM and artificial neural networks methodologies.

Writing research reports and scientific papers to disseminate the results.

Technical support in communication actions of group initiatives.
