Temporary Laboratory Technologist (1-year contract)

Overview*

Reporting to the PI Professor Yong Eu Leong, the incumbent will perform specialized laboratory analyses such as Immunoassay (ELIZA) and LCMS, carry out other laboratory duties such as maintaining inventory of consumables, preparing reagents, maintaining and setting-up of equipment, and other general duties as required. The incumbent will also perform any other laboratory experiments, assays and other research projects, as required.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

• Perform experimental work as required by PI’s grants and conduct on-going quality control checks to ensure test results are precise and accurate
• Ensure proper documentations for traceability and in adherence to good documentation practices
• Communicate and present findings and report workflow anomaly to PI and/or research team
• Any other laboratory experiments, assays and other research projects, as required

• Diploma or degree in biomedical sciences or medical technology or in related discipline
• Relevant experience working in a laboratory with skills in molecular biology, preferably in conducting enzyme-linked Immunoassays
• Meticulous and attention for details
• Has initiative and willing to learn
• Good analytical and organization skills
