Expected scope of duties:

- design and implementation of scientific research in the discipline of security studies,

including interdisciplinary research;

- applying for research funding in the discipline of security studies;

- publishing research results in bulleted journals on the list of the Ministry of Education

and Science and in reputable publishing houses;

- conducting classes, including classes conducted in English.

Admission requirements:

• Holding a post-doctoral degree in social sciences in the discipline of security

studies;

• Significant scientific achievements in the field of security studies, especially in

the field of issues related to human safety, public and universal security and civil

defense;

• Experience in the field of participation in the implementation of research and

development projects and research work in the field of national security and

state defense;

• Experience in teaching at a university, especially in the field of civil protection,

civil defense and public and universal security;

• Knowledge of English that enables conducting classes.

The competition application should include:

• a letter of application to the Rector of the Military University of Technology,

• candidate’s questionnaire, CV,

• copies of diplomas and other documents confirming / proving the candidate's

qualifications,

• a declaration of consent to process personal data included in the job application

in accordance with the Data Protection Act of May 10, 2018 (Journal of Laws of

2019, item 1781);

• a declaration of no charges within a final judgment of a deliberate crime,

• a declaration of no charges within the disciplinary procedure of the deprivation

of rights to practice the profession of academic teacher on a permanent or fixedterm

basis/contract,

• a declaration stating whether MUT is the core or non-core workplace for the

applicant.
