Offer Description
Main tasks
- Conducting and developing research activities in the field of mathematics, including publishing research results and undertaking new research topics;
- Participating in the preparation and implementation of research projects, including submitting applications for research funding and cooperating within research teams;
- Developing scientific activity through participation in national and international conferences and cooperation with research institutions;
- Independently teaching courses in mathematics, preparing teaching materials, and improving teaching methods;
- Encouraging student engagement in the educational process and supporting their academic development, including through consultations and supervision of student work;
- Participating in the organizational activities of the unit, including service on teams and committees and activities for the benefit of the programme or discipline;
- Cooperating with members of the unit in carrying out teaching, research, and organizational tasks;
- Participating in the academic life of the unit and carrying out assigned organizational duties.
Formal requirements
- Meeting the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
- Holding a doctoral degree in Mathematics within the field of Natural Sciences;
- Submission of all documents required to participate in the competition.
Substantive requirements
- Research achievements including at least three scientific publications in mathematics (articles in journals listed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education or chapters in peer-reviewed monographs), or authorship of a scientific monograph, or an internationally recognized publication;
- At least one year of experience in conducting scientific research;
- Experience in preparing or submitting at least one research funding application, or participation in a research project as principal investigator or researcher;
- Experience in teaching mathematics courses in higher education amounting to at least 30 hours in total;
- Experience in teamwork, including participation in a research, project, or organizational team for at least six months, or organizational service for the benefit of an academic unit for at least six months;
- Very good command of Polish, both spoken and written, enabling the candidate to teach fluently and effectively;
- Ability to conduct classes in an organized and engaging manner.

- Scans of diplomas confirming completion of studies, academic degrees obtained, and the document confirming the award of an academic title
- List of research and teaching achievements from the last 5 years, including information on published monographs, articles, reviews, active participation in national and international conferences, participation in research projects, and achievements in student education
- List of any academic awards
- Information on organisational achievements
- Set of candidate declarations\*, including:
- Declaration regarding the primary place of employment
- Declaration on assignment to a scientific discipline and inclusion in the N number
- Declaration on the obligation to submit a Research and Academic Development Plan
- Declaration of no criminal record
- Clause confirming fulfilment of the information obligation
- Consent to the processing of personal data
