As one of the world's top 50 young universities and Aotearoa New Zealand's only university of technology, Auckland University of Technology (AUT)  is where talent meets opportunity and where students learn, research, and live in one of the world's most dynamic and culturally rich cities. We have a hugely diverse body of students, staff, and partners and a clear vision expressed through Te Aronui  - our new Te Tiriti Framework and the cornerstone Ki Uta Ki Tai Student Success Plan, which will ensure a shared, cohesive approach for the University to achieve its commitments and ambitions for student success, inclusion and belonging. We are a socially-driven university with equity and excellence central to our purpose and actions, and we offer a stimulating teaching and research environment with strong connections to government, business, and industry. AUT has more than 27,000 students and over 4,000 staff based primarily at our three Auckland campuses.

AUT's Law School  (part of AUT's Faculty of Business, Economics and Law) is Aotearoa's newest and arguably, its most contemporary - blending traditional legal education and focus on legal theory with a strong practical application. AUT law graduates are highly sought after by law firms, community organisations and many other employers. Established in 2009, the school has grown significantly in size and stature. We have over 25 committed and passionate staff dedicated to providing an excellent learning experience for our incredibly diverse student community, whilst maintaining a focus on high-quality research  that has genuine impact and makes significant ongoing contributions to Aotearoa's policies and legal frameworks.  We have an excellent teaching and research environment focusing on high quality, innovative teaching with authentic practice-based assessment and staircasing graduates through to postgraduate research. As a school, we are an open, collegial group and support the growth of our people.
