The Optoelectronics group at ICFO is looking for a highly motivated Research engineer to work in a multi-disciplinary project involving water processing, photonics, microfluidics and signal processing, to be part of a team with the aim to validate biosensing devices and filtration in the field of waterborne microorganism detection.
The position will involve working on standard microbiology bacteria culture, sample preparation procedures, graphene and polymer coating processes, sample characterization, field evaluation campaigns, SOP writing and result presentations.
