The Senior Technical Officer will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of undergraduate teaching programmes, experimental project work (capstone, MAI/MSc level) and research activities within the Discipline of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering. They will provide vital electronic and instrumentation support in the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment ensuring continuity of research and teaching activities throughout the Discipline. They will provide hands on training and demonstrate standard operating procedures to all students and researchers in the use of a variety of experimental equipment and associated control software.

Post status: Permanent Contract

Hours of Post: 36.5 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Senior Technical Officer salary scale (€56,321 to €67,664 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
