The Role

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse (Administrative Officer II Grade) on a full-time, permanent basis, to provide and administer a comprehensive and engaging mental health nursing service for students. The Psychiatric Nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Student Health Centre, providing health care to students of Maynooth University and Saint Patricks Pontifical University. They will work collaboratively with the wider University Community, including but not limited to the Student Services Team, Maynooth Access Programme, Maynooth Students Union, and Academic Departments, in providing psychiatric nursing services to the student body. The Psychiatric Nurse will also take a leading role in mental health promotion activities within the University.

Administrative Officer II Scale (2022) Salary Scale:             €41,317 - €59,152 (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
