Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Protein Structural Biology within UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science.
The UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science is offering a permanent, full-time Lectureship/Assistant Professorship (above the bar) to contribute to our taught undergraduate (BSc) and postgraduate (MSc) programmes, with a primary focus in the area of Biochemistry (BSc). It is expected that the successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise in the implementation of research in protein biochemistry with a specific focus on structural biology applying experimental and/or computational approaches.
The BSc and MSc programmes delivered by the School are amongst the most popular in UCD Science. The successful candidate will join a vibrant teaching- and research-intensive School and actively participate in the design and delivery of teaching modules at fundamental and advanced levels of the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
We are looking to recruit an individual with a proven track record of research and publication, who will establish a vibrant, interdisciplinary and extramurally funded research programme that complements current research expertise in the School.
95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor (above the bar)\2010 Salary Scale: €60,261 - €95,425 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
