Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nurse to join the Student Health Centre Team in Student Services, on a part-time, temporary basis. The Nurse will provide and administer a comprehensive health and well-being service for students, which incorporates treatment and preventative elements as part of that service. The Nurse will also take a leading role in health promotion activities within the University.

Applicants should note that at certain critical periods, there will be a requirement to work outside normal office hours, including weekends (during student examination sessions in May, August, January). It is not normally possible to take significant annual leave during the academic term or during examination sessions as a minimum level of nursing cover must be always provided in the Student Health Centre.

Administrative Officer II (2021):               € 39,236 - € 56,297 per annum pro rata (9 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the Administrative Officer II scale.
