The All-Island Cancer Research Institute (AICRI) is a rapidly emerging virtual institute which is creating an overarching framework for cancer research across the island of Ireland (www.aicri.org ). AICRI has brought together ten academic institutions and multiple other stakeholders from the healthcare sector, cancer patients, cancer charities, industry partners and government agencies. It has a broad research programme from cancer prevention to cancer diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and quality of life.
The Irish Cancer Society AICRI ResearchAnalyst will be a key research enabler role, embedded within the expanding AICRI Management Team, that will further develop and refine AICRI's research programme which comprises of four themes: cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship and quality of life. The work will be evidence-based and be of great value to AICRI and the Irish Cancer Society, as well as multiple other stakeholders. The Research Analyst will help to identify priority research areas for AICRI such as (1) living with and beyond cancer, (2) functional cancer genomics and precision oncology, (3) immuno-oncology and the microbiome and (4) digital health, as well as contribute to development of its overall strategy.
Salary range: €48,000 - €53,000 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
