Executive Officer (School's Finance Office)

The School of Physics seeks 2 Executive Officers to join a small team of administration staff in the School’s Finance Office. The successful candidate will support the School’s Finance Manager and team with the overall management of the accounts. One of the main duties of the Executive Officer staff will be to handle the essential day to day procurement-side of the office, from placing POs (approx. 100-200/month – can range in value from €1 - €1M), to taking in deliveries, arranging customs clearance where required, dealing with invoice queries and also being the initial check for iexpenses. Ensuring that all orders follow the School’s and College’s procurement policies. Other duties will include maintenance of the Finance office website, ensuring procedures are kept up to date, and other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Post status: Permanent - 2 positions

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
