Post Summary

Trinity College Dublin seeks to appoint an Administrative Officer to the Bursar and Registrar. Working with the Bursar and Registrar, the postholder will be responsible for providing direct administrative support to both College Officers and their offices.

The postholder will be required to provide secretarial support to a number of committees, as well as provide more general support within the Provost’s Office. In addition to serving as the AO to the Bursar and Registrar, the postholder will be a valuable member of the Provost Office team reporting directly to the Director of the Provost’s Office.

This is a varied and challenging role in a fast-paced environment, demanding much initiative, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage many priorities. The postholder will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and organized, as well as have the capacity to develop new skills as required.  

Post status: 3 Year fixed-Term Contract

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€43,340 -  €54,597 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
