Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year with the possibility of renewal) 

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or any related subjects. Expertise and rich experience in computer vision are necessary. Knowledge of computer programming and prior experience in system development are necessary. Strong publication records and experience in preparing research proposals are advantageous. Knowledge and experience of other machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques are beneficial.

The appointee will work in a research group of Dr. Y.H. Kuo on significant research projects that build cutting-edge computer vision technologies for use in different computer vision applications in various industries, assist in preparing research proposals, and educate students and users in the projects on the technologies and research outcomes.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Professor YH KUO at [email protected] .
