The Dahlem Center for Complex Quantum Systems (DCCQS) at Freie Universität Berlin is seeking to fill a position as a Research Associate (praedoc) (m/f/d) in the field of theoretical solid-state physics with a focus on quantum transport in chiral superconductors. The position is funded by the Cluster of Excellence Center for Chiral Electronics (CCE).
The Dahlem Center provides an exciting forum for discussion that promotes the exchange of ideas and supports collaboration between established and early-career researchers in Germany and around the world (https://www.physik.fu-berlin.de/forschung/dahlem-center-for-complex-quantum-systems/index.html ).
The center’s research focus is on quantum-theoretical solid-state physics in its entirety.
The CCE Cluster of Excellence is an interdisciplinary research project within the framework of Germany’s Excellence Strategy. Since January 2026, the consortium has been conducting research on chiral materials to develop the next generation of extremely fast and energy-efficient electronics.
