About Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT)
The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing
CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore. The Centre also has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. With some 200 staff and students, it offers a friendly and international work environment

To support the Centre’s community engagement and internal communications by managing onboarding, orientation, alumni relations, wellbeing initiatives, social events, and administrative coordination for staff, students, interns, visitors, and nodes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the welcome of new staff, students, interns and visitors to the Centre, complementing their onboarding to the university. To include:
- Arranging and hosting new joiner information sessions
- Sharing new joiner info on the Centre website and other channels
- Manage the orientation/community engagement for all nodes
- Assist to design and implement internal communication tactics including all-staff emails, internal webpages, newsletters and townhalls
- To be a member of the Centre’s well-being committee
- Chair a committee that plans social events for Centre members, including nodes
- Manage Alumni engagement
- Assist in administrative and logistical matters for visitors and intern
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in roles demonstrating skills relevant to this scope of work
- Strong communicator, confident in engaging people of all seniority levels and nationalities
- Excellent English language skills
- Systematic and self-motivated
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma
