Offer Description

The main objective of this project is the development and validation of the drug esterification process and its incorporation to nanoparticles. The secondary objectives are: stability and cytotoxicity tests and pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic, and toxicological studies in mice models. The research to which this scholarship is linked takes part of a larger research endeavor within the thematic FAPESP grant.Thematic Project, developed at the Heart Institute (INCOR) run by the University of São Paulo’s Medical School as part of its hospital complex, Hospital das Clínicas (HC-FM-USP).

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree obtained no more than seven years ago, preferably in the field of Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field of study.

The position is open to candidates of any nationality. The post-doctoral scholarship is granted by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship in the amount of BRL9,047.40/month and a research contingency fund equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship to cover unexpected expenses directly related to the research activity. The position is limited to 4 years.
