Overview
The School of Science at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in a wide range of disciplines.  Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to: Computing, Security, Cyber Security, Biological Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with a focus on the continued growth of the disciplines. 

The Role
The School of Science is looking for an experienced administrator with a keen interest in Health and Safety, and knowledge of SharePoint Communication Sites, to play a pivotal role in maintaining the processes and systems that are critical to ensuring that all health and safety processes are governed, managed, and delivered to meet required standards.

Selection Criteria 

  • Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, with the ability to use initiative and apply critical thinking in their approach to problem solving.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision in order to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes.
  • Interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong interest in, or exposure to Health and Safety principles as part of a formal qualification, or by participation in Health and Safety Representative training will be highly regarded.
  • Medium to advanced SharePoint experience is essential in this role (i.e., create and manage document control lists and libraries, calendars, power-automated notifications, and workflows).
  • Experience in Riskware is an advantage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This position attracts remuneration of $78,854 to $87,624 pa plus 17% superannuation.
