In anticipation of Curtin University's upcoming re-registration for accreditation with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) in 2025, we are actively seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Project Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for spearheading the development, coordination, and seamless delivery of the re-registration project, ensuring its accurate and timely submission.

This project plays a critical role in upholding our esteemed reputation and position within the higher education landscape. As the Project Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders both internal and external to the University. Your capacity to manage multiple parallel initiatives and engage with potential challenges involving a wide range of stakeholders will be instrumental in driving the project to a successful completion.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement project protocols and tools for the effective coordination of TEQSA re-registration activities.
  • Coordinate the collection of evidence and monitoring of Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) compliance.
  • Organise and manage materials for the re-registration process, ensuring accessibility and availability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including TEQSA, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the management of quality assurance processes, including Campus and School reviews, as required.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, and quality control measures to ensure adherence to targets and deadlines.
About you:
  • Experienced project management professional with the ability to coordinate and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes within resourcing constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • An understanding of quality assurance and / or accreditation responses in relation to the higher education sector. Previous engagement with regulatory and standards bodies such as TEQSA is highly advantageous.
  • High level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks with attention to accuracy and detail within deadlines.
